Micropol Fiberoptic signs significant contract with BAE SYSTEMS Hägglunds
Halmstad based company AB Micropol Fiberoptic has signed a contract with BAE Systems Hägglunds for the delivery of field tactical fiber optic communication systems to BAE Systems Hägglunds’ combat vehicle type CV90. The contract includes deliveries to new as well as upgraded CV90 vehicles for Sweden and four other European customers. The order value is significant and includes deliveries until 2032.
The order will be produced in Micropol Fiberoptic’s facility in Åled outside Halmstad and adds significant production volume to the existing contracts with BAE Systems Hägglunds.

Construction has begun for Micropol’s new production and office facility
Micropol is growing, and we’re pleased to announce that construction work for our new production and office facility in Halmstad is now officially underway.
Micropol is building a new production facility and office
Micropol Fiberoptic is taking the next step in its expansion by investing in a new production facility at a prime location along highway E6 in Halmstad. The new facility will significantly increase production capacity by introducing more workstations and an increased number of staff, enabling the company to take on larger and more complex projects.
