For the fifth year in a row, the strong demand for Micropol Fiberoptic’s offering resulted in significant sales growth. Net sales grew by 46% during 2025.
Delivery of emergency equipment to Swedish Local Fibre Alliance
Micropol Fiberoptic has been entrusted with delivering field-tactical fiber optics to the Swedish Local Fibre Alliance (Svenska Stadsnätsföreningen) to facilitate repair work during crisis situations. The delivery is part of the preparedness assignment Resilience and Endurance, which the Swedish Local Fibre Alliance was awarded by the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) in 2022.
The assignment is part of Sweden’s increased resilience and aims to support and develop the industry’s collective ability to maintain and provide society-critical digital infrastructure during crises, heightened readiness, and wartime.
The equipment from Micropol consists of fiber optic cabling designed to function even in the most demanding environments. In addition to fiber cabling, the delivery includes deployment equipment and cleaning materials.
Deliveries will begin in 2025, and the estimated order value is SEK 20 million.
