Micropol is building a new production facility and office
Micropol Fiberoptic is taking the next step in its expansion by investing in a new production facility at a prime location along highway E6 in Halmstad. The new facility will significantly increase production capacity by introducing more workstations and an increased number of staff, enabling the company to take on larger and more complex projects.

For example, the ability to install, repair and refurbish customers’ platforms will be increased, says Peter Ljungkvist, CEO of Micropol Fiberoptic.
The new premises will be roughly 4,600 m2 and include facilities for production, cleanroom, warehouse, customer showroom, offices, and joint staff areas.
The construction marks a major milestone in the company’s development and strengthens its position in the industry. The strategic location along E6 offers excellent logistics opportunities and improved accessibility for staff, customers, and partners.
The facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, and construction will start in May 2025.
HF 2 AB is the landlord, and MTA Bygg och Anläggning Halland AB is the contractor of the new facility.
