Micropol awarded funding within the SUSTAINET-Advance project under the EUREKA CELTIC-NEXT 2025 program.
The annual meeting has welcomed Prof. Peter Andrekson to the board of Micropol Fiberoptic.
Prof. Peter Andrekson are the head of the Department of Photonics at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, an academic institution which employs 40 researchers. Prof. Andrekson brings 40 years of experience in optic communications to Micropol Fiberoptic whereof more than 7 years from AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey. He has also been the CEO of Picosolve, a company focusing on optic measurement technologies.

An exciting step forward for Micropol – our new headquarters and production facility in Halmstad is now visibly coming to life. Last week, construction reached an important milestone as the first walls were lifted into place.
