Micropol expands the FALCON family
Micropol is proud to introduce three new additions to the FALCON product family: the FALCON Mini SQ 38999 FP, FALCON Mini D-Hole 38999 FP, and the FALCON 38999 Expanded Beam Connectors, size 11 & 13.
As drone threats continue to grow, so does the demand for reliable and mobile detection systems. ArmaTech AB’s Wolfpack is a compact, passive RF drone detector designed for tactical operations, providing 360° detection and real-time alerts by identifying drone control signals and video feeds.
To enable communication between sensors placed up to 3000 meters apart, ArmaTech relies on Micropol’s high-performance fiber optic technology. Wireless connections were ruled out due to detectability and vulnerability to jamming, making fiber optics the superior choice.
Micropol’s HD cable, designed for rugged environments, and FALCON expanded beam connectors ensure secure, high-speed data transmission over long distances. With a market-leading insertion loss of -0.8 dB, the FALCON connector maintains strong data links even in challenging conditions. The system is field-deployable with Micropol’s ergonomic tactical backpack, designed for easy handling and quick relocation.

Micropol Fiberoptic Enters Strategic Collaboration with Bertin Exensor Through the collaboration, Micropol Fiberoptic will deliver tactical fiber optic infrastructure, including ruggedized tactical cabling and Falcon Expanded Beam connectors, for integration into Bertin Exensor’s advanced sensor platform.
At this year’s UTEXPO, students showcased a degree project carried out in collaboration with Micropol, demonstrating both engineering expertise and real-world problem-solving capabilities.
