Kids and cancer dont belong together
Every year around christmas we donate money to a charitable organization. This year we donate to The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund for their work of eradicating childhood cancer.
Last week, Micropol participated in the yearly event “Falu Gruvmässa” in Falun. This more than 10 years old tradition had its start with a few engaged enthusiasts within city fiber networks during the time of the first FTTH expansion.
The need for a meeting place in this region was acknowledged by Bertil Dikman (Falu Energi och Vatten) and with his commitment and dedicated work the exhibition has grown to be one of the most important regional recurring events within the segment of Telecom & Broadcast.Falu Energi och Vatten takes pride in delivering a stable future safe fiber network not only to the residents of the region but also at winter sport events like ski jumping and cross-country skiing.“Our top of the line equipment and setup has overdelivered the demands of domestic and foreign TV broadcast teams” says Bertil Dikman whilst giving a tour of Lugnet’s facility.Micropol is proud to be the supplier of choice for Falu Energi och Vatten in regards to passive fiber optics, used both in the city net and during the international events at Lugnet.

Micropol Fiberoptic has signed a contract with BAE Systems Hägglunds for the delivery of field tactical fiber optic communication systems. The contract order is significant and includes deliveries until 2028.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Micropol Fiberoptic. The journey started in Anders Andersson garage in the village of Åled on the Swedish West Coast in 1988.
