For the fifth year in a row, the strong demand for Micropol Fiberoptic’s offering resulted in significant sales growth. Net sales grew by 46% during 2025.
MICROPOL SIGNS NEW FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT WITH THE SWEDISH DEFENCE MATERIAL ADMINISTRATION
The Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) has awarded AB Micropol Fiberoptic a contract for the delivery of field tactical fiber optic communication systems to the Swedish Armed Forces. The 3-year contract, which can be extended to up to 7 years, has a total contract value of 178 MSEK (appr. 16,1 MEUR).
AB Micropol Fiberoptic has been the preferred supplier to the Swedish Armed Forces for many years and the contract award secures the continuation of the current deliveries. The contract award will require new hiring of an additional appr. 10 production personnel in the Åled facility during 2023.
