The FALCON Mini 38999 FP combines Micropol's market-leading expanded beam technology with the industry-standard MIL-DTL-38999 size 11 footprint. The connector is designed for demanding environments where resistance to dust, dirt, moisture, vibration and mechanical wear is critical.
A key advantage is the ability to connect directly to tactical cables equipped with mini-size expanded beam connectors, eliminating the need for adapters and simplifying system integration. Since the connector maintains the same footprint as a standard MIL-DTL-38999 size 11 connector, it can easily be integrated into existing platforms and panel designs.
Equipped with Micropol's FALCON expanded beam lenses, the connector delivers market-leading optical performance with insertion loss below 1.2 dB and data rates up to 40 Gbit/s.
The product is available in two mounting configurations:
- Square flange
- D-hole flange
Both versions share the same optical performance and environmental specifications while offering flexibility to match different installation requirements.
